Day 1

La Parva – ripped a sick face with powder pillows of 3-4 feet deep! far lookers left.

 Day 2

Valle Nevado – we skied 3 meters new in Valle Olympico (Olympic Valley).  Andes Express lift, going left off this.  Via Mirador lift.

 Day 3

Valle Nevado – El Poma De La Inca and Las Ballicas open!  Epic powder on all aspects.  1st run down to Inca Poma was 500 meters through deep pow to the lift, and then we took the Inca Poma to the top, went right off this.  We skied below Cerro La Pana far skier’s left (2 runs) of incredible powder, no wind.  The rest of the day we skied chutes & mini bowls off the Ballicas Poma!  Till the legs ran out, then we called it a day (some of us).  But, Steve, Stan, Dan skied across Valle Olympico to the RT. hand ridge to the base of the saddle between Valle Nevado & El Colorado.  From here, we put skies on the packs & proceeded to climb the 40 minutes up to the top of the El Colorado Poma.  Actually, people were looking at us like we were crazy as they sped past us.  Crazy gringos they were mumbling……Hijos de puta, que locos (sons of bitches, what crazy people).  We get to the top of the Poma, and then it’s all downhill to the Santa Terisita Road run.   We skied a 47 – 48 degrees face up high, to a 35 degrees open powder field, to the nearly vertical 50 degrees lower wall shot to the highway.  Then it was about 45 to 50 minutes waiting for the Argentine family to pick us up at the bottom, for our uphill expedition!

 Day 4

We skied a great powder run off the tres puntas poma excellent powder runs under bluebird skies!

 Day 5

Travel day after the great skiing the day before, followed by the 3 hours sushi libre marathon at the sushi club & the all night discothèque till 7am!

 Day 6

1st day in Las Lenas!  We skied 1st run of the morning number Eduardo’s.  Great Powder, then it was off to Volcano Backcountry & Lower Mercurio for more epic turns!  Steep face off of the sombrero.

Day 7

1st run of the day we traveled into the volcano backcountry to ski a steep headwall all the way down below Mercurio.  It was about 42 degrees with carton & some powder!  Rest of the day you guys tracked out El Senador (The Senator).  Stan & I climbed up the Mercurio Bowl around the giant rock buttress to the famous spires of the Paradiso area.  Great corn & slush turns!

Day 8

Steve, Erik and Jon ripped the Senador all day, while Jeff, Stan, and Dan skinned 4.5 hours to the top of the “collar”, (the Pearl Necklace).  Great corn & slush turns all of way through the necklace.  Top had some carton, then to perfect corn turns! 4,000 vertical all the way down to the groomer.

Day 9

Martes opens!  Best corn run of the trip down to Paradiso & Sao Nom.  The snow here was basically butter for 3,700 feet!  We skied immense bowls, chutes in between beautiful rock spires!  The snow just could not have been better!  2nd run was not quite as soft, but the tight choke & narrow exit kept it interesting.  Lower down amongst the rock pinnacles we discovered that great corn again!  Turn, turn, turn….

Day 10

Storming & high winds kept the day interesting.  Martes shut down around 11:45am, but you guys got up to enjoy the new snow.
